Maintain It Rentals was established in 2012 by managing director Michelle. Owning rental properties, she found there was very little unique management companies servicing the Manawatu. Michelle started her company with a van full of tools doing all the work herself, from repairing tenants leaking taps to digging holes for a new fence. The business grew to a portfolio of over 100 properties in such a short time that she had to put the tools down to focus solely on property management.

Michelle understands how hard it is to hand over an important and often emotional investment like a rental property to a property management company. She maintains high standards of diligence and has strict rules about quality and respectful workmanship from tradespeople who now carry out the handyman and renovation work.

Michelle and her team at Maintain It Rentals pride themselves on looking after their tenants. They have an annual Christmas function at a local lake, for tenants and their families to thank them for looking after their rental property. At Maintain It Rentals they believe that looking after tenants will create better relationships and improve the likelihood that tenants will look after your property.

All team members at Maintain It Rentals are up to date with tenancy law changes and regulations. In eight years managing properties throughout the Manawatu Maintain It Rentals has only had two tenancy tribunal cases to manage.
